A User's Experience of Money

In the heyday of Microsoft’s consumer boxed-product business, the Money team enjoyed the relative lack of competition from internet-based online banking and personal finance websites. Indeed, the only competition was from Intuit’s Quicken products, which outwitted, outplayed and outlasted Microsoft’s Money.

I was a full-time Microsoft User Experience Designer for the Money team between 2000 and 2005. During that time, I did a lot of user interface design on both their online sites and boxed products.
